Building Blocks Behavior Therapy is committed to developing home and community-based support for families that are dealing with Autism and other developmental disorders, in the Ocean and Monmouth County areas. We are looking for caring, committed individuals who share these same values to partner with us in supporting families.
Duties include directly providing developmental and behavioral guidance to children, youth and families, as well as conducting assessments, following and/or developing service plans, collecting and/or inputting data and other activities as deemed necessary to each individual case. The position may also involve reviewing and approving assessments and service plans conducted by other behavioral health employees and basic office work.
Applicants must demonstrate an ability to relate effectively to children and adults, be comfortable working in a strength-based and family-centered way, and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
At this time, all positions available are part time independent contractor status.
Positions require flexibility in scheduling and in approach. We work at the times individuals and families need us most, so afternoon, evening, and weekend work will likely be involved. Flexibility in scheduling, willingness to drive, and willingness to work within the homes and communities of the families we work with is required.
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Candidates may be required to submit a negative substance abuse test, be able to provide fingerprint and criminal history background clearance.
Pay will depend on experience.
